When I saw your reply via e-mail, I was going to say ~ "You show me yours..."
However, having since logged on & seen your entry... honour demands...
I scored as a male brain, but quite interestingly towards the centre ~ as I wouldn't have been surprised to wind up on the 'pink' side.
Not sure what issues such a result & expectations may engender... & prefer not to contemplate them too deeply, actually...
Especially having spent the early part of the evening in the company of the alpha-est of males, who has previously voiced suspicions as to my sexual alignment (they were dispelled) & thusly having been acutely aware of every 'left-field' action & utterance of mine, that came entirely naturally, as well as interested to see how they'd be interpreted.
Part of me also doesn't give a s@%t... For the record ~ I'm physically & intellectually hetero... I prefer both the bodies & minds of the human female gender*. Possibly because I think women find these kinds of surveys as amusing as I do & I have to be able to share a joke with someone...
Oy. You men and your sexual paranoia ... *shakes head* ... I hope part of you dispelling his suspicions involved turning it back on him in the way that most homophobes are closet homosexuals ... *lol*
I have no sexual paranoia... enthusiasm, maybe, but no paranoia.
It's just that every now & then, there's a spate of assumptions/comments about which team I play for (funny how they come in clusters ~ I hear 1 or 2 in a week, then nothing for months...) & I get tired of issuing denials, explanations etc... which probably aren't really believed anyway, given the staining power of that particular tarbrush.
What do they want me to do?? F@%k them (or the nearest female) on the spot to prove myself!!?? Maybe instead of denials, I should just say "Why don't you come here & find out?"
To answer your question ~ yes the alpha-male is now occasionally addressed in my best 'camp' accent, just to see how he'll react... & just because I can.
Can I just say I find it so weird that someone would question your sexuality? Okay, maybe because I met you in a specific context so I knew unequivocally which side of the fence you played on --- god, that sounds awful but you know what I mean and everyone else who doesn't can f**k off with their suspicions --- but it really is the last thing I would even consider with you.
Also, YES, what bloody business is it of anyone's?! At one of my previous workplaces, I got a few questions along the lines of "Oh so you live with your boyfriend?" or "You have a boyfriend?" which annoyed me enough --- I find these questions very presumptuous from work people who I haven't bonded with --- that I shot back with "Why does it have to be a boyfriend? Why can't it be a girlfriend? Or a sheep! A nice sheep!"
*cough* I'm not sure if that sort of response would work with an alpha male. These were both women of a much meeker subversive character so I felt fully justified in lashing out with Mah Rapier Wit Ooh Ooh. It shut them up. And yeah, I guess if I was in your position, "Why don't you come here and find out?" is exactly what I would say. Or do what you're doing with the camp accent. Good on ya!
You know, I bet it's the Gemini thing. :p And if anyone deserves the sexual paranoid tag, it would be Mr Alpha Male, is what I'm thinking. *nod*
