Feelgood Animal Story Of The Week
Apr. 16th, 2006 09:13 amI love this article.
( Only One Meal From Turning Feral... )
I especially like it because one of the main players - Peter Myers - is a regular character in the detective books by Kinky Friedman, in which he uses his real-life friends as characters... & has been known to kill a few of them. Also, Kinky's muse & inspiration (both in real life & the books) is his cat... & much is made of the cat's disdain for the human circus - of which this little article is a prime example.
In such blurring of life & art, I was kind of surprised Kinky wasn't called in when the cat went missing. It wouldn't be the first time he's solved such a case.
