The worst part of this is the amount of wait & see time involved. I had a taste of it earlier this year when the Father Figure had his encounter - which seems to have passed (knock on proverbial), but this may be a lengthier period of waiting for news... of whichever kind... although the fates seem to be against us on this occasion. Her mother is currently in the stage of terminal cancer commonly referred to as Any day above ground is a good day. But you can't even blame genetics - K was adopted... as was her brother, who told me the news yesterday. I'm seeing him on Thursday...
In the meantime, life goes on - I'm due to finish in my current job next Friday (unless they extend the deadline again) & my sales cohort was given his notice yesterday. I have an interview for a non-sales related government job on Friday morning... prospects are good (knock on proverbial)... & Melbourne Elizabeth flies in on Saturday for a few days visit, including a gig on Saturday night. Rey - call me for details when you can...
