What a wonderful Sydney send-off & welcome I've had, to bookend the trip to Melbourne.

Thursday afternoon/evening - it rained. All the way from my work meeting in Coogee, over to Rose Bay where I left the car in the care of Liz. All the way to the airport. It rained

Monday evening - it's raining. From the moment I stepped out of the back of the Virgin plane, to Edgecliff station, down the hill into Double Bay where I gave up & caught a taxi to Rose Bay, then all the way home in Auric. It's raining.

Melbourne was alternately cloudy, sunny, windy & only a mild hint of precipitation. Time to re-assess the Sydney viewpoint of Melbourne methinks. I'm still in the last stages of separation anxiety - I didn't want to come back here & I want to go back there ASAP. Sydney needs to give me a reason to stay.

The plus side?? Only a 4 day working week this week & a swag of gigs to do in the coming fortnight...

Yes, I quite enjoyed the trip to Melbourne too!
Wish we could have stayed a bit longer tho . . . . .
