Weirdnesday

waitingmanWell - a day for the unthinkable to happen, on a couple of fronts.
Work has been busy!!! I've been chasing my tail & myriad clients around the 4 corners of this town for the last couple of days & the next couple are already booked up to be more of the same. Who would have thought??!!
And then, following House (the only TV I watch all week), I come in to the computer & find an e-mail from my most recent erstwhile singer (the one who disappeared following a less-than-perfect set at an amateur-hour songwriters night last year), just saying "Hi" & wondering what I've been up to...
Then again, I suppose I shouldn't be that surprised - any day that begins with 2 cases of wine appearing on the front doorstep is never going to be an ordinary one.
So, cheers & goodnight then.
