I've Been Everywhere, Man...

waitingmanI've been to Windsor, Penrith, Rose Bay, Double Bay, Annandale, Randwick, Newtown, Glebe, Kingsgrove... & a rarity for me these days... a suburb I'd never heard of before - Jamisontown. Sounds like a ghetto, looks like a ghetto, smells like a... let's just leave it there shall we.
Up-side: OBluV8 got to spend some quality time on this city's motorways (& some byways) at triple figure speeds. Down-side: Beds. Lots of beds. I now know more about beds than I ever thought it was possible to know & I'm more confused than ever about what constitutes a good one. Don't get me started about mattresses on top of that...
The Classic Rock Wedding became just a little more so this afternoon, when my foil had the inspired idea of importing the piano/organ riff from Let It Be into Here Comes The Bride...
Don't worry, it's all done in the best possible taste!!
Which is more than I can say for the 12 bar rock'n'roll version we warmed up with... & then recorded for the wedding present CD (as a 'bonus' hidden track).
Yes - it's been one of those weekends. I arrived home at 7pm tonight for the first time since I left for work on Friday morning. I'm only up this late now, due to a late evening visitor & the Australians caning the South Africans in the deciding one-day match... had to stay up for that!!
