Done... dusted.

The soundtrack has been mixed, mastered & then collected by the director for her sound editor to play with in Canberra tomorrow. Release forms have been signed for our hours of work to be used in the film, so it's officially out of our hands.

And now... obscurity knocks. From the sublime to the ridiculous, my next little job involves arranging 3 songs for 2 acoustic guitars to be played, instrumentally, at an upcoming family wedding.

1. Here Comes The Bride... okay, no surprises there...
2. Livin' On A Prayer... yes, the Bon Jovi 'classic'...
3. Never Tear Us Apart... there'd better be plenty of good food & wine at the reception, that's all I'm saying.

It'll be an outdoor wedding, with "about 150 people" attending & no, there's no PA system for either the celebrant or the guitarists. I'm sure the half dozen people who'll actually hear anything will enjoy it. As for the rest... well, provided they don't yell for White Wedding, or November Rain, they can do whatever they like - as long as they're quiet.

Oh my. Nothing like realistic expectations of your entertainers - and sure enough, those are nothing like realistic expectations of the entertainment.

Good luck!

What? NO NIN? No Rob Zombie? Not even any Lee Presson?

That's the last time I ask you to be my chief bridesmaid.

It's Not MY Fault!!

Don't think I wouldn't have tried... but the 'set list' - such as it is, was given to me as a non-negotiable.

Hell, the bride & groom are barely old enough to remember when 2 of those songs were actually released!!

Triple M has a lot to answer for...
