Both Long-Suffering Partner & I have joined the global ranks of the Infected, after holding out for 2½ years. As far as we can tell, we probably picked it up on one of our last days down in Melbourne, with L-SP having symptoms on Monday night & confirmed by a PCR test on Tuesday, then I developed a sore throat on Wednesday night & tested positive on Thursday. None of our friends we spent the last couple of days in Melbourne with are showing any symptoms, so who knows??
We are both fully vaccinated & as boosted as we can be, so kind of hoping for a less-than-rough ride. So far, it feels like a bad head cold, complete with blocked nose, headache & coughing. Other than that, it's just the sheer frustration of it all - we had 2 concerts to attend this week, as well as a cinema re-release of Koyaanisqatsi on Sunday night & now we're stuck at home with Netflix & Chills... & shivers & frequent coughing
