I actually have been in a car on the autobahn and it was kind of scary. My husband was driving and there was TONS of traffic including many trucks, and it was rainy. If you wanted to get out of the slower right lane you had to find an opening in the MUCH FASTER left lane and FLOOR it and hope you didn't intersect with another car or truck. Of course we went nowhere near as fast as 417 kph.
