Mangling Shoulders & English

waitingmanAn early morning mangling by my Physiotherapist, who said he was happy with the progress on my right shoulder, then proceeded to find new ways to put pressure on it & make it complain... but apparently "it's good pain"... henceforth he shall be known as my subsidised sadist. A new set of exercises to do for the next week & another appointment at 7.30am next Friday - nice to get the wrangling & mangling out of the way early in the day!!
Now back home & perusing the job ads again, sorting the wheat from the chaff & the truffles from the bullshit... like this:- "The culture is positive, fun and vibrant with core values of Passion, Expertise and Trust at the heart of it. Our teams are run by individuals who are self-driven, autonomous and curious about the Energy industry with a passion for excellent customer service. We are a fun and social group of 70 staff working on a single floor in a bright/open office overlooking Woolloomooloo Bay and The Domain."
I'd wager the only accurate part of that description is the address... the rest is a mixture of wishful thinking & marketing-speak, with a handful of the aforementioned bullshit thrown in to make it seem 'organic'. The role is an Account Manager... I wonder if they want the person to be a 'rock star' as well??
