Another idiot climbs over a safety barrier to get the 'perfect' selfie shot & everyone is surprised & horrified when she falls to her death??

It ... happens ... all ... the ... time!!!

I'm sorry (NOT SORRY!!), but if you ignore safety advice & climb over fences & barriers at cliff edges, then Darwin's theory of Survival of the Fittest is going to come into effect. If you're THAT stupid, then the human species can get along without you very well. Of course it can

And of course, the fallout & blame will go everywhere but on the egotistical idiot... Higher barriers!! More signs!! Close the lookout!!!

How about... Personal responsibility!! Common sense!!! Remember - there's a nemesis for every act of hubris

Common sense? How about mistakes? People sometimes doing some stupid things and you can’t protect them... I’m really sorry, but it’s happens and will happens till people will be... people!

I've been following these, of course & it is wonderful to see Mr Fripp showing a side to him I've only heard stories about, from some of his band-mates

I've occasionally taken calculated risks to get photos (non-selfies), and I would expect no sympathy if I did myself in during the process. Risk versus reward. If the selfie means more to you than living for your family, so be it!

My Father always said you can't make the world safe for idiots - they'll always find a way... & they really do. I wonder how the family will rationalise this... & find a way to make it sound like it wasn't her fault

I have more sympathy, but honestly, not that much more... for the two 5 year olds who shot themselves with a loaded gun they were playing with. Try explaining how that happened, when you're at the funeral

Very simple and religion always helpful here. Only God know why and we all should believe that something we don’t understand always, because only God know!

I though we gave up believing in gods that demand human sacrifice a long time ago!!

The Christian god doesn't even want us to sacrifice goats to him any more, so why would he want a 5 year-old child!?
