One from a while ago - they don't even have lions at Taronga Zoo any more (they moved them out to the much larger & open Western Plains Zoo, where they have much more room to roam... & practice!!), but my post-processing skills & software have finally caught up & made this image a lot clearer...

If only my short-to-medium term future could be run through the same programs...

Great shot! Was the background that dark originally?

Thank you Sir... The background was more of a dark, boring dapple grey, so it's not cheating too much to have blackened it a bit - even if it did mean losing his shoulder on the bottom right. But I think the shot works as just the mane & face
