waitingmanReflecting on life, the universe & everything this morning, on the way to work in the, halfway-improved but still not the brand new one promised, ute (pick-up truck for my USA friends), it feels like I'm in a bit of a holding pattern. There are things that should happen, but for various reasons, can't, or won't yet
The tensions at work will either be busted open by a spectacular dummy-spit from yours truly, or I'll find the right opportunity to walk away... preferably with the right replacement location to walk to. But not yet, despite the current practice of sailing the ship along the edge of the world. Maybe I'll just refer to the place from now on as the HMAS Brinkmanship
This puts a lot of other things into a parking orbit - future house plans, immediate holiday, or at least short break, plans... & the purchase of new guitars & gear!!!
I hate being on hold... the music is universally terrible & the only time you hear a voice, it's telling you how important you are & that life will be with you shortly...
