Yes, I know it's Monday night & that's a strange time to be doing a week in review, but with my schedule the way it is... except when it gets changed, there's no such thing as a weekend, or a week's end, anymore, so Monday night's as good a time as any
The situation at work has stabilised at a low level... which is to say, it's become pretty bad, but has ceased to get worse for now. I am openly looking at job ads on my phone, whenever I have a moment
Speaking of phones... my Samsung Galaxy updated itself yesterday & almost instantly, the Google Play Services app started flashing error messages. I couldn't shut the app down, I can't uninstall it, I can't cancel whatever update it was & revert to factory settings. I've tried everything recommended on the forums I could find... & have also found that people all over the world have been complaining of the same issue for about a week now, so I'm definitely not alone. Seems like Google themselves have to fix the issue & they haven't yet... nor have they posted anything saying they're even going to. I am now several large strides closer to an iPhone being my next phone & if this keeps up for much longer, I could have one by the end of this week...
Day off tomorrow, which is starting fairly early - I have to take Laura to the doctor's to have a door re-aligned. We noticed it doesn't sit flush when it's closed & we haven't bashed, crashed, banged, or pranged it, we're just surprised we hadn't noticed it before. It should be covered under warranty & if not, you'll hear my forceful counter-argument from at least 2 suburbs away... It's been that kind of week - don't poke the bear
