What kind of job can be so important it takes 3 interviews (so far...)??
Further to the numbing 2 hour interview last week, described in greater detail elsewhere - & following a 90 minute 2nd interview this past Wednesday, now comes the news that I'm to attend a 3rd interview next week to meet even more directors, owners, managers & whatthehell - the cleaning staff might want to have a say too, can't forget them!
Or do they save that for a 4th visit??
All this for a job I'm not even sure I want. After the first session, I phoned a couple of contacts in the industry & got the scuttlebutt on why they need a new sales rep. One of the people I spoke to was my potential predecessor, who was happy to tell me why he left. The picture is not all that rosey (Speaking of Rosie...) & I'm hoping a couple of other prospects make me an offer I can't refuse, before these guys make me an offer I'll have to accept - I'm running out of expendable income!
In other news, I had a proverbial knife stuck in my metaphorical heart the other day. It left a mark, but no bleeding...
