Good God, We're Bored, Friday

Everything is usually closed on Good Friday, but when you add on travel bans & take away national parks & other places you can go when your favourite cafés are closed, it becomes a not very good day at all... though the christian leaders would say it's still not as bad as the Friday Jesus had about 2000 years ago... ("Line on the left, one cross each..."). So, some guitar practice, some reading, some domestic duties, a walk with the 4-legged houseguest & an evening search for some non-christian oriented dinner options, eventually finding a small Chinese takeaway about 10 minutes drive & $85(!!!!!!) away... & we only ordered 4 dishes - oh lord, how we have suffered!

Today, we are returning our houseguest to her owner, catching up with some extended family, briefly & safely, then, hopefully, picking up my, hopefully, recovered PC, which will then occupy the rest of my day with reconnecting everything, swearing when it doesn't work, remembering long-lost passwords &, if I'm lucky, some work on a backlog of photos & finding out if I'm working tomorrow or not... Preferably not, as I can confidently predict a day of sitting around in the Showroom, with nobody coming through the door & the only phone calls being godless telemarketers trying to sell us something... anything!
