More updating & resurrection of things computical (?). New optical mouse with pretty flashing lights that let you know it's working - which I'll either get the shits or epilepsy with eventually... & a new printer with more ink cartridges inside than I've ever seen before. Lots of peripheral software now on board - which means I could finally download some digital photos that had been in the camera for weeks. And I have sound!! I haven't had sound on the computer for over half a year!!!

It's the little things that make life worth living... Or is it just that I'm easily pleased?

Contemplating a 30" LCD just for playing real time strategy games...

Can't throw away my old DIN5 peripherals...

And I have 10 keyboards all missing one key...which I have no intention of throwing out..."Hey I'll use that when I play Pinball!"

*SIGH*

Can I interest you in a water cooled glow in the dark CPU with a clear sided computer case and three LED fans...

Having spent an unnatural (for me) amount of time in computer stores over the last couple of weeks, the amount of 'stuff' you can get is mind-boggling... If I was more of a computer buff, it would be kid-in-a-candy-store time. Fortunately, that only happens to me when I'm in a music shop.

I'll swap you a couple of clunky, wayward, sub-standard 80s synth/keyboards with various dead notes (which I still may get around to either using one day, or just sampling the interesting bits) & a vintage (read - decrepit) banjo-mandolin for the funky CPU. Maybe I'll throw in an octave effect pedal... but I'm sure to find a use for that some day...

I'm now convinced that I really need a large LCD monitor.
