... shits. Except it doesn't

There's no evidence whatsoever that the Covid19 Coronavirus results in any kind of increase in human internal waste production &/or the need for its immediate expulsion & disposal

So why are so many people panic-buying all the toilet paper in Australia??!!??

Your answers on a sheet of paper - preferably 3-ply, lightly scented, firm, but soft on sensitive skin...

Just another example of how the common herd is so easily panicked... despite the many & continued voices of reason. Especially the voices that say Australia produces its own toilet paper - there won't be a shortage... except maybe in my house in a few weeks time, when I suppose I'll just start scrunching up utility bills - there's never a shortage of those either!

I've read the recommendation to "stock up" (sounds better than hoard, right?) on TP and tissues not because of the sickness itself, but so that you could bunker-in for two weeks if needed without running to the store.

Not that most modern humans have two weeks' supply of *anything* on hand these days, especially food. Except maybe a backlog of recorded TV programs. REPORTER "And how did you survive your two weeks of self-isolation from COVID19?" AVERAGE CITIZEN: "Um, Netflix?"

We've also read the advice of stockpiling drinking water. I think sometimes writers/reporters just take the emergency script for hurricanes/typhoons and quickly change the heading to .
