Driving, Lounging, Drinking.

Another Monday, another recovery session from a fairly full weekend. Although, I did declare yesterday a ‘nothing’ day – where all invitations to go anywhere are declined & any movement at all is kept to a minimum.. For most of the day, it was just me, the sunshine, the latest Harry Potter & occasionally one of the new lounges, when the sunlight was too much.

Then my father suggested ‘a couple of drinks’ at the RSL... & it all went kind of downhill from there. Last thing I remember was watching a Pink Floyd live video on one of the aforementioned lounges, before shuffling off to bed somewhere around 11pm.

Other than that, it’s been a fun few days making the acquaintance of a rather powerful 8 cylinder motor & a 6 stack CD player all wrapped up in an attractive blue package on alloy wheels! I get to take it on the freeway to Newcastle tomorrow – we’ll see what we’re capable of...

Hmmm... Having done 2 complete recoveries in the past, can't say that this looks any easier than either of them. The FRED is still being fickle about when it wants to boot up - this evening it took 4 goes & a threatened re-programming with a 12 pound sledgehammer...
