waitingmanWell, nothing untoward happened... either overnight or during the day.
Which in normal times wouldn't warrant an entry, but following on from Wednesday night/Thursday morning, inactivity is a significant improvement worth recording.
A word of warning to any Sydney journalists who invite Reynardo over for dinner... In fact.. a few words...
First: If you let her make dessert, be sure to not cook a big meal. She makes REALLY good desserts...
Second: Make sure she doesn't succumb to Mammon on the night of your dinner invitation & disappear after dinner & a show - in this instance an obscure Salma Hayek movie - because work has offered her the graveyard shift & all the penalty rates that entails on a Friday night...
Third: Don't put fresh chillis on her fillet steak - she doesn't like it... especially the really small, hot ones... Lederhosen liked them on the tuna though...
Fourth: Did I mention the desserts?? Dangerously more-ish at late hours too...
On a lesser note, this weekend marks the first time in a 20 year working career, that I've EVER had to bring work home to complete for Monday. For someone who lists his occupation as musician first & sales rep second - this is a drastic development... Usually, for me, bringing work home means learning new songs, not typing up installation quotes!!
Can the mortgage, marriage, 4 wheel drive & 2.5 children be far away?
