Batten down the hatches! We're taking on water!!

I am sitting at my desk at work. Currently in front of me is a wet phone, a wet computer, monitor & keyboard, as well as a lot of soggy paperwork. This office leaks like a government department. The disadvantage of having an office in Ultimo valley. The disturbing thing is - we're at sea level here... & the sea isn't that far away. Some of the longer-serving staff have begun reminiscing about the time the place flooded '... & the water came up to here... Doug went outside in his underpants to rescue a lady motorist... Mark did too...' I've never met this Mark guy, but I've seen Doug (not in his underwear). I wonder if the lady motorist was pleased to see them? I doubt it... especially if they were pleased to see her.

My dad used to park in an old warehouse down that way - and one night it flooded. The car was submerged up to the roof.

So how about sending some of it to the catchments instead?
