I didn't know Rick Parfitt & status quo but I followed your link and listened to the song your posted. Really nice sound.

She wasn't a musician but Zsa Zsa Gabor died recently. Another personality from a past era - gone.

A few more days to this killer year. Let's hope for better days.

To be honest, I thought Zsa Zsa had died years ago... maybe I was thinking of her sister Eva - the one from Green Acres

'Living On An Island' is a gentler song than Status Quo were known for (this was more like it!!), but one where Rick sang the lead vocal... most of the time it was Francis Rossi, the other guitarist

Keep an eye on this year... it's plainly not finished yet - Another one from Christmas Day - not famous, but still talented

I read about Vera Rubin after reading your post. A most impressive woman & highly intelligent. NPR (National Public Radio) just did a piece on her. Thanks for including her in your post.
