waitingmanI hate my new haircut.
Extenuating circumstances - it's just been washed & I never have a good hair day on washing day. It's been humid & then just plain wet & I never have etc...
Why, oh why did I capitulate to bland corporate standards & reveal just how grey my hair is getting by having the back & sides cut really short?? It's not the grey I mind, so much as the way the hairkiller shortened the top stuff, to 'blend' with the military back'n'sides. Now, instead of flowing backwards & sideways, it just flops limply to one side & reminds me of a hairpiece from a Goodies episode... one that's just waiting to be offered a saucer of milk.
Still, give it a couple of weeks & it'll grow out... or back... or I'll shave the whole lot off from sheer frustration. Then again, I don't have a good head for being bald... so maybe not. Maybe it's hat time?? Wonder how the boss would react if I turned up in a sombrero tomorrow... & a fez the day after??
That's right, I remember! I cut my hair because of the possibility of a couple of job interviews this week! Still only possibilities though... Today was the first day of my ascension to the senior sales position. Nothing to get excited about, given that the 'team' consists of just myself & a woman who's never been in sales before. So, my workload has doubled & I have a rookie to train. Not that any of it is beyond my capabilities, just that there's been no official talk of increased financial reward - according to the MD, I'm on 'trial'...
I can understand why some people shoot judges...
