Homeward Bound

Dear Reader,

Well, we leave New York tomorrow, after spending (& I do mean 'spending') eight days here & not seeing anywhere near everything this incredible city has to offer. For such a small square mileage, they sure know how to pack stuff into it

Met up with chaosvizier for lunch today at an Irish pub for an hour or so... Nice to put a friendly face to the man behind one of the more entertaining journals I read, as well as the LJDQ Quiz. He now has the dubious distinction of being the only person we know in New York. Fortunately for him, it's not that much of a responsibility, as we'll be hard at work back in Australia both paying off this trip & saving for the next one. But thank you Sir, for great lunch, great conversation & Guinness!!

Other than a few last minute things to attend to tomorrow morning, that's it. We arrive back in Sydney on Sunday & go into hibernation catching up on sleep (we're knackered!!), then processing photos & fine-tuning the magnum 'opeless that will be the diary of this epic trip...

You're too kind! It was a pleasure to meet both of you and hear about your adventures across this great land. One day I will come to The Land Down Under and try the same thing. Or maybe I'll skip to New Zealand instead because, you know, Middle Earth and Narnia can't be wrong. ;-)
