waitingmanOops... fell off the wagon officially tonight...
Having had the odd 'special occasion' "one drink & that's it" tipples - justifying them by calling them social occasions, tonight I had no such excuse... home alone, no special occasion, just ennui. And it won.
It's prize was a bottle of chilled white wine... or was that my prize?? Doesn't matter... maybe I'll try again in about September.
No real reason. Today was just another day, really... landlocked in the office, due to car servicing ($360 got me front & rear brakes, standard oil change & registration pink slip. Colour me impressed!!), so a lot of backlog was pumped out, but an equal amount flowed in. I'll be everywhere tomorrow... well, later today now...
The whisper of more film music reached me this evening too... Good thing I've started practising guitar again for the hell of it.

Bank account status: intact, if slightly off target. Recovering.
Rediscovered Foxtel Showtime channel this evening. ' The Rage In Placid Lake' - wait 'til it's on TV. Rose Byrne & Garry McDonald good, Miranda Richardson wasted, Ben Lee plays himself... the kind of guy who should be beaten even more often than happens in the film. 'Alexandra's Project' - brilliant!!! I hope I never make ANYONE that angry at me!!
Now - thunder, lightning, rain... bedtime.
