I've said before that I like what & how Jack Marx writes.

Here's his take on recent events in southern NSW.

It certainly echoes my views on the declining standards in journalism & 'news reporting'... only he writes better than I do.

BTW... Happy International 'No Music Day'!! Hope you're having a quiet one...

Politicians as well. Anna Bligh has huge stones (http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/11/21/2426153.htm), but exactly how does it help anyone for her to fly into the disaster area? I've heard similar from people in the Gap, and one woman of a certain age phrased it well on the radio a few days ago (parahprase): "I've had visits from Kevin Rudd, Anna Bligh, and Campbell Newman, and a lot of media. They were all very nice, but none of them bought any tarps"

No Music Day? Feh.

It's easy when you're housebound, and have regular periods of significant sound-sensitivity. Not that I recommend anyone, y'know, try that. Because it SUCKS.
