I suspect the base statistics they are quoting, and the interpretation that on average Blokes don't like their Sheilas to be driving are accurate. The reasons behind it are probably more interesting than the raw statistics, though. Maybe it's a control thing? Blokes like to have their hands on the levers of whatever shiny toy is at hand?
