Doing My Bit...

waitingman... to keep the petroleum industry ticking over. I've driven about 200 kms today, never leaving the confines of this town. It's a big city.
First out to a supplier's warehouse located in an outer western suburb. To arrive at 9am meant leaving WaitingManor at about 8ish (hooray for school holiday lack-of-traffic!!), hooking up with 2 motorways & making my e-tag beep like R2D2 about 4 times en route. Thence to a client's home in the inner-city, followed by a trip to another branch of Debtor's Prison in Annandale. Then over to the Northern Beaches to my Debtor's Prison, before a quick trip home to change clothes, grab sundries & head out again...
... to a lunch in Glebe with an old friend visiting from Ireland, 2 not-quite-as-old friends from The Shire & assorted children, followed by coffee, cakes, cheese-platter & a walk around Glebe with the Dublin Damsel ~ with an unexpected but pleasant encounter with another not-quite-as-old friend above BlackWattle Bay. Then, back to OBluV8...
... to battle the peak-hour traffic crawling towards Epping. A couple of hours listening & working out guitar parts for a potential recording session, then a much quicker blast along the M2 & Lane Cove Tunnel, skidding into my driveway about 20 minutes ago ~ just in time for Boston Legal.
Back to work tomorrow for a rest.
