Being a recently retired musician, fed up with band politics & the general unreliability of human beings, a thought occurs...

Why not start a duo with the best friend a man can have?!

I look forward to our cover version of 'The Great Gig In The Sky'

And a rare meme from me ~ via Reynardo

Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done;
- See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." If they have, you need to add another!

My 3:

1) I've ridden the Murrumbidgee River rapids on a lilo. With a backpack.

2) I've sung solo in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. Yes, there was an audience at the time ~ quite a large one too. So there!!

3) I've gone over Niagara Falls in a barrel Umm... I know!! I've played the Star Wars 'Cantina Theme' as a duet for 2 kazoos with band backing on national television. Oh, the shame...

'Seamus' was a bit obvious... plus it was apparently an Irish Wolfhound (my favourite breed) on vocals.

No, I stick by the 'Great Gig', as I think my new favourite singer could bring the house down with his/her rendition. Teaching the dog to whine in tune & key is another problem. Dave Gilmour, of course, solved this by playing a pedal steel... although I'm sure Claire Torrey could ululate pitch-perfectly.

Seamus on the other hand...

Please, please don't do it again.

Once was definitely enough.

Have I told you the abseiling story from the same expedition?
