waitingmanJust seen off my main musical foil. Him - back to wife, child, suburban normalcy. Me - to silence & solitude. New song beaten into shape, but not yet recorded. Now, a 2 week break before we get together again. Will we remember the new arrangements?? Tune in & see...
Work's been busy, but pretty much by the numbers. We're back to a sales team of 2 again - the loudmouth Kiwi techno fan was shown the door by management & security yesterday. Ostensibly for failure to perform to expectations (oh oh...), but also under an unspoken cloud of suspicion about missing data projectors (No proof, no accusation - circumstantial evidence only). Things finally started slowing down today... finally! This time last year I'd been playing solitaire for 2 weeks.
Still a bit of present shopping to do. Checking my daily schedule to see if I can get to a couple of CD shops before Thursday &/or Friday pm. - when the parties begin.
Every year I say I'll do my shopping before the end of November. And every year... this...
