It's All In The...
Apr. 16th, 2020 08:36 pm... wait for it...
... Timing

This is a nice shot, but 5 minutes earlier, it would have been a stunning one. I was driving home from work & noticed the clouds showing off beautiful reds & pinks from the setting sun. By the time I made it down to where I knew I'd have a view uncluttered by power lines & surrounding buildings (& a foreground of Sydney Harbour!!), the colours had all but gone from the sky
I blame the Boss - he didn't get back to me with the info I needed to finish a quotation 'til bang on knock-off time, so I left work 5 minutes late!!!
I think I also need to start carrying the point'n'shoot camera in the work ute... This is a phone photo, but the point'n'shoot would have given it a bit more depth. Not as much as the DSLR would, but I'm not prepared to have that in the ute... most likely it wouldn't be there for long - & then I'd have a broken window to fix, as well as a new camera to buy
