Done... dusted.
The soundtrack has been mixed, mastered & then collected by the director for her sound editor to play with in Canberra tomorrow. Release forms have been signed for our hours of work to be used in the film, so it's officially out of our hands.
And now... obscurity knocks. From the sublime to the ridiculous, my next little job involves arranging 3 songs for 2 acoustic guitars to be played, instrumentally, at an upcoming family wedding.
1. Here Comes The Bride... okay, no surprises there...
2. Livin' On A Prayer... yes, the Bon Jovi 'classic'...
3. Never Tear Us Apart... there'd better be plenty of good food & wine at the reception, that's all I'm saying.
It'll be an outdoor wedding, with "about 150 people" attending & no, there's no PA system for either the celebrant or the guitarists. I'm sure the half dozen people who'll actually hear anything will enjoy it. As for the rest... well, provided they don't yell for White Wedding, or November Rain, they can do whatever they like - as long as they're quiet.
