Jun. 29th, 2005 04:00 pmMy first officially 'busy' week at work.
Quotes are going out, orders are coming in... seems all the doorknocking, smiling & schmoozing of the last month might be paying off at last.
Ill be spending the next day or so hopping around, picking up the shattered shards of a previously well-ordered end-of-week timetable. Where once was order, now chaos reigns.
It's nothing a bit of... well actually a LOT of driving around can't fix. Time to shore up our struggling petroleum industry again - at a rumoured, imminent $1.20 per litre. Thank god for a car allowance.
BTW - saw Batman Begins last night. Bale, Caine, Oldman, Neeson all in good form. Then, there was Katie Holmes... Window dressing as an acting technique & insisting on still being called 'Katie' will never win you an Oscar... or even a Golden Globe... However, it WILL win you a Logie... & a Scientologist.
