So, when is a band practice not a band practice?

Ostensibly when half the band can't turn up, which was the case earlier tonight... or last night, according to the clock.

But also when the only other bandmember to arrive happens to be your partner in other endeavours ~ including scriptwriting, sound & songwriting, being a trusted advocate on personal matters & is also a timely, welcome distraction from any & all of the above. The result was a good opportunity to catch up on more than one backlog of things & stuffs outstanding. (??!!)

Despite the variety of subjects, distractions, options & their demanding, respective agendas, my Foil & I actually ended up achieving a few things & pushed some others further down their respective tracks. Which dovetails nicely with the multimedia approach I've taken to the last few days ~ music, photography, writing, playing, talking, thinking... Nice to see things vaguely going to an even vaguer plan!!
