I don't know whether to nominate this guy for an International Photography Award, an honourable mention at the Darwin Awards, or a Stupidity Award...

Eh, given the relative rarity of shark attacks, and the soundbites that suggest this guy knew a bit about how to read shark behaviour, I think he made at least a partially informed decision.

Looks like he got some great shots out of it, and he'll be the hit at parties for a good while...
