Sunday Blurry Sunday

waitingmanAt least it was a sunny Sunday, unlike last week. Still working on my first tan in years, shaking off the 'vampire' epithet attached to me by some of my browner friends...
Was woken at 3am this morning by pains in my feet. Felt like severe bruising, but not a mark on 'em. A couple of Neurofen & back to sleep eventually. They've been kind of tender to walk on today, but not as bad as the shambling hobble to the kitchen in the small hours. Just the body's latest way of saying I'm not as young & regenerative as I used to be... Probably.
Another week at work looms. Doesn't feel like 2 days off, not after the battle to Friday that was last week. The thrill is definitely gone, it seems. Ah well, Christmas is coming & at least that means 2 weeks off over the festive season, with the house to myself as the upstairs bunch go to Tasmania, Victoria & god only knows where else.
