A Step In A Direction

I just verbally resigned from the Hellhole. I simply can't afford to work there any more. This week has been a nightmare & the next 2 will make the last fortnight look like times o'plenty.

I'll make it written & official either later today or tomorrow ~ when I've calmed down enough to write a professional-sounding letter ~ I'm still really pissed off about the conversation that's led to this...

Ah well, Seek.com.au has been perused, some ads have been sent home for me to do applications tonight. There's not much else I can do, other than be practical.

That said, I'm a little overwhelmed. Angry, nervous (In fact ~ downright scared!!), relieved, disbelieving... & I'm feeling it physically as well.

It's not a matter of fighting the power. This has been more about getting out of a bad situation that has no prospects of improving.

It was never meant to be long-term & I suppose now is as good a time as any to get out. I didn't want to notch up a year in the place... that would have been soul-destroying.

Not the best time of year to let others that should not effect you on a personal level do so. Use them until you have another job to go to..... Only then will congratulations be deserved and appropriate. Don't get mad.........
