And when it comes to spelling, it's not Freyr (I'm not a guy), or Freeer (although phonetically understandable).
I'm a lot more relaxed about all this than I used to be. These days no one does it deliberately to piss me off, so I can relax about it. Until people start correcting other people to their preferred version of pronunciation in front of me when the corrected people had it right, because they'd listened when I'd introduced myself...
