So, today, SarinG, M'fic & I went to the Aroma Coffee Festival in the Rocks district. 6 long queues, 2 good macchiatos & 4 average ones later, I think I found my caffeine threshold. Interestingly, it hit me like another plant-derived drug does (only that one's not a stimulant, as such...) ~ all of a sudden, you know you've had enough. M'fic managed 5 in about half the time I took for my 6 & SarinG made it to 8!!! Look for an LJ post from her at about 3am tomorrow...
Tomorrow marks 4 weeks on the wagon &, barring the need to counteract the caffeine in my system with a single malt or 2 in the wee hours of the morning so as to get some sleep, I think I'll go another month, just to see what'll happen.
There, I've announced it publicly. Now I'll have to do it.
