"No, no, dat's de soize 'talways waz. People say Oi's darft, but Oi tell'ee dat's t'sun up dere... Now go'n' clear oop t'cowshed lad. dere ye go..."
Yep ~ bored at work, how can you tell? The sun is making an appearance to dry the outdoor displays that have been soaked all week. Given the current weather patterns, they should be dry by about 2pm, in time for the next showers at about 4.30pm... the time I have to go outside & bring them in.
In the meantime, it's me, the SMH cryptic crossword (which is always a bastard on Fridays), & a selection of CDs by The Church, as well as the new albums from Kate Miller-Heidke & Mavis Staples.

Date: 2007-06-29 01:46 pm (UTC)Weather sucks...though is reported to fine up over the weekend. I swear it's been raining for 22 days (not all the time, but everyday) today is the first it's made it from dawn to dark without any.
The Church...man haven't heard them for years!

Date: 2007-06-29 10:21 pm (UTC)The Church are still very much a going concern. The most recent album was at the beginning of this year. If you listen to Australian radio, you'd think they broke up in 1987 after Under The Milky Way... but they didn't.
Now, off to work I go.
