In response to repeated, none-too-subtle requests from a digitally deprived SarinG ... who may take a while to upload her vision... here are 2 shots of Manly Dam ~ an example of your tax dollars put to best possible use. On one side, a water research station of mysterious & dubious purpose. On the other, a bunch of waterskiers, canoeists & paddlers, all cheered on by gormless & guileless picnickers on the shores of reclaimed bushland.

Given my previously decried opinion of Manly... does anyone have a spare cache of explosives or corrosives?? It's for a good cause... anyone who's been there would know that!!
