Another Saturday Night...

An unexpected night in. Not at all unwelcome given the dire level of the bank account & the low energy level at the end of the working week. So, it's me, The Mummy, a free bottle of white wine, home-cooked curry, cheesecake & CD burning... oh... & apple liqueur yummy!!!

A flying visit from Reynardo today, as I was waiting in line at the local chicken vittles shop (I drew the short straw for lunch pick-up duty). A hug, a kiss, a promise to catch up & she was gone... Otherwise a non-event working day.

nice gold in that sky! Where is Mrs. Macquaries chair? (did you take a shot of it?) been meaning to ask what kind of camera you have?

There's no actual chair, as such... I think it was originally a comfortable rock she used to sit on. Geographically, it's the next eastern pointy bit on the Harbour after Bennelong Pt (where the Opera House is...) & just before Garden Island (which was a real island 'til the navy moved in & artificially tied it to the mainland...).

I live on fairly high ground, with a great western view just made for sunset snapping... Currently I have a Fuji S3500 ~ 4mp & 6x optical zoom. Basically it's a glorified happysnaps camera, but a reasonable place to start from. I'm learning to compensate for its shortcomings with Photoshop & look forward to not needing to quite so much... Once the employment drama sorts itself out, a decent SLR is high on the purchase priority list ~ I'm starting to enjoy it!!
