Gainfully(?) Employed

A dull phone conversation this morning, with the manager of the outdoor furniture/BBQ shop cum warehouse I went to yesterday, cap in hand, looking for money!!! a job...

After a deal of prevarication, he offered me the sales position ~ such as it is... for a salary as yet undetermined. Pride, vanity, career path, desire... were all ejected from the room as I accepted. At least it's a local job that I could just about walk to ~ & may yet. So, from Tuesday to Saturday for the next unforeseen future period, I'll be flogging outdoor accoutrements to Northern Beaches indolents.

And so ended the day...



The sooner I can start photographing sunsets in Victoria, the happier I'll be...
