Another night in Hollywood. The residency... & the residents, continue to improve. I recommend coming along on the 29th ~ they'll be awesome!!
A good session for me ~ a bit of a shot in the arm, confidence-wise, following the weekend debacle. Not even a broken E string could derail things. After the set, an entertaining & informative 40 minutes with Green Senator Kerry Nettle (someone's gotta make the appropriate name joke... might as well be me!). Even Doris the pub owner was enthusiastically involved in Question Time.
The only dark spot... When I returned to my illegally parked car, I hadn't been booked, but I had been broken into via a back window. Nothing was taken (I never leave anything worth taking in a car ~ past experience...), or vandalised, but the broken window is a pain in the arse I didn't need.
I hope the alarm scared the shit out of whoever it was (it always scares the bejesus out of me!!). However, it's not worth telling the police to look out for an empty-handed vandal wearing brown trousers...
