Make Up Your Mind!!!

So, today, my employers told me I can stay on for another month "if I want to".
The right side of my brain (the side in charge of emotion & creative language) wanted to tell them in highly descriptive & no uncertain terms what they could do with their offer, especially after some of the comments & behaviour over the last few weeks, but the left side of the brain - (the side in charge of pragmatism & economics) prevailed & I accepted. It would appear that my pride has a price - about a month's salary. Which is, at least, not cheap.
But I will be amping up the bi-metropolitan job search by a fair degree, dammit!!
In other news, disaster struck at the Outhouse Studio tonight, when my foil & I discovered that all the music we'd recorded for the 2 soundtracks has been recorded on a faulty computer that has now miraculously fixed itself. Trouble is... now all the tracks won't play at the tempo we recorded them at & nothing synchs up any more. And we don't know how to make the original 'fault' occur again to get it all back. Much swearing, tearing of hair & a couple of panic phone calls later, the worst case scenario is that all the music recorded over the last 3 weeks will have to be re-recorded tomorrow night, then mixed, then mastered in time for handover on Thursday. No problem... we should be finished by about 3am, if we're lucky...
And now, to bed... to sleep while I can.
