I always hated Gene Pitney... & '24 Hours From Tulsa' is one of the blackest stains on the country music sheet. Surpassed only by 'Islands In The Stream', 'The Gambler'... & let's face it - just about anything recorded by Kenny Rogers except, maybe, 'Coward Of The County'... maybe...
Oh... & anything by Brooks & Dunne... & Garth Brooks (no relation, which unfortunately means there's more of them...)... In fact, any country music done by any idiot wearing a 10 gallon hat... except Kinky Friedman...
And rhinestones... sorry Glen Campbell, but there it is...
Anyway... back to the matter at hand... I will be in Melbourne 24 hours from now for 4 days & 5 nights... absolutely cut off from the 'net & e-mail, so those of you who wish to impress me with the best or worst that my possible future home can offer should contact Reynardo for my mobile number - which I'm not quite secure enough to publish just yet..
