WaitingManor has been under siege, of late.

However, one army has been beaten off & exiled & an entente cordiale has been mostly thrashed out with the others via some terse e-mails & heated phone calls, which means I think I can now stick my head above the parapet without having it shot at. Still a bit reluctant to lower the drawbridge & open the gates though...

Don't forget nearby neutral locations that can be used for temporary retreat while assessing the situation. You are always allowed to seal the gates and remain inside for a while though, if it makes you feel safer. (Best advice a counsellor ever told me).
