1. What's your favorite candle scent?
I'm not much of a scented candle person... Long-Suffering Partner likes a particular brand, but they're all a bit overpowering to me. Call me strange, but I like the smell of a candle I've just blown out - the dying flame on the wick & the smoke. Latent pyromania??
2. Do you have an artistic or crafty hobby? What is it?
I'm equal parts photographer & musician, as my small readership would know...
3. What's one weird way you save money on food?
I don't know if it's weird, but I usually only have any 2 of the 3 daily meals. 3 meals in a day is too much food & I get uncomfortably full. Maybe it's my glacially slow metabolism...
4. Do you collect anything weird or unusual?
Not really - I've always collected books by authors I like, or albums by musicians I like, but I don't get obsessive about it. I have a few autographed books & albums, but no locks of hair or fingernail clippings!!
5. Do you fear the deep ocean, or does its unknown depths excite you?
Depends what kind of boat I'm in!! Like many people, I love the ocean & I live quite close to it, but I'm not a strong swimmer & if you're born & raised in Australia, you have a healthy mix of fear & respect for the numerous shark breeds that will take anything from a nip, to a chunk out of you. I am fascinated by oceanography & the strange creatures from the real depths that we know so little about, but personally, I prefer to stick to the shallower waters
