Well, I think the axe will fall tomorrow.

I've done all I can & had some more successes resulting from the role I feel I should be doing (as opposed to being a ridiculously over-qualified telemarketer), but the impression I get from the office ambience is that it won't be enough to save me.

Having spoken to the other 2 members of the sales team, they think I'll be okay, but whether that's just moral support, or wishful thinking on their part ('cause if I go, they'll be next, most likely) remains to be seen. According to one of them, who's been with the company 6 years & 3 owners, the Ranch Manager's a bit of a fruitloop (gee... I hadn't noticed...until 5 minutes after meeting him!!) & she doesn't think he'll own the company for much longer. Whether it'll be long enough to lose the rest of the sales staff also remains to be seen, but neither of them seem happy.

So now... I wait.

The soundtrack to the Tropfest film is coming together nicely, in the wake of the Daylan dissolution. A weight has been lifted & the music flows more freely.

I'm glad you survived the dreaded day in the end, but my sympathies anyway; it's never pleasant sitting on the proverbial guillotine wondering when the blade will drop. Here's hoping you're out of there soon!

It's good to hear the music's flowing, though...
