Living Desert Sanctuary - about 20km outside Broken Hill, Australia
Taken on last year's 'round the State roadtrip. I'd settle for doing that again at the moment, but we're not allowed to go any further than 5km from home - which could actually put me a couple of km offshore in the Pacific Ocean, but excludes our favourite takeaway burger place... never knew it was further than 5km away 'til we looked at an interactive map that shows a 5km radius from your address. So we could go fishing, but can't get fish & chips!! I suppose we could get it delivered if we were desperate - & you'd have to be... it would arrive as one soggy, congealed mess that looks like it's already been eaten once
We've even had to give up our quasi-regular spot on the feeding schedule for a stray cat colony, as it's beyond our limit. A shame - a couple of them were just starting to get used to us... enough for them to sniff warily at my fingers last Friday & that was before I'd started putting food out...
